About Joseph Barnett
For the last forty years, Joseph has been making a living selling his photographs. He prints his images in his own black and white, color and digital labs.
In 1972, Joseph produced lithographs of his work and was the first person to put photo lithographs into frames and then to sell them to almost every major department store in America.
Joseph uses film and digital cameras and prints much of his work on canvas. He likes canvas because of the greater depth and lack of reflection that this medium offers.
Once every year or so, Joseph travels to other countries to add images to his collection. He favors the English Yorkshire Dales, Ireland and Italy. Joseph also has an extensive collection of photographs from northern California and New England. He now lives in Kennebunk, Maine.
His fine art photography is available for commercial commission and freelance work, licensing opportunities, interior design companies, advertising agencies, architectural firms, in house corporate and publishing.
